Universal Monsters Double Feature


Sketchbook drawings before i head out now to see  a double feature of the restored versions of  Dracula and Frankenstein.

I wanted to post these before I left the house so they are not as finished as I was intending so I'll probably do another version of them ..
The double feature was mind-blowing! so beautiful that big and that clear, the cinematography was really done justice the images were just stunning at that size.
I thought I was going to cry from excitement:-)

I wish there was a cinema close to where I live and one that shows the older movies too, at that.
There's always something magical about watching a movie in a large room with a bag of popcorn :)

This was at Cineplex Odeon, they are doing a program of Universal movie nights of films that have been restored tho its just at select theaters and a couple of times a month.. In the US its done in conjunction with TCM . I used to work at rep theatre and at one that ran a lot silent movies but this was cool just because it was the new restoration of the these movies and the page was quite staggering at times.
