Friends in Kid Koala were in town for a show yesterday and I got the vinyl and cd (after lugging some equipment and wardrobe and boxes of paper airplanes:-)) of the new record 12 Bit Blues which is my favorite release so far and their shows are always fantastic and fun. The packaging is killer on this. Cut out old phongraph, a flexi, booklit with illustrations, you can't but appreciate and admire the craft and commitment of the whole package, from the records to the shows.
