I"ve taken to giving a local squirrel 2 almonds a day and he has become quite fearless. I think he would happily come into the house oblivious to the fact that Igor would be more than happy take care of him.
Those pics of the squirrel & Igor are pretty hilarious!! haha Amazing that he (she?) peers into the window.. We only have Black and Grey squirrels in our yards, and though they make regular trips across the deck.. If I open the sliding door, they usually get too spooked & run away.
I'm a little less diligent about putting peanuts out on the deck, since one of the little buggers has been digging up the potted geraniums to nibble on the bulbs. Tossing dirt EVERYWHERE across the deck, in the process.. I don't wanna encourage them, I guess.
