earliar I talked about the Dorian Gray painting by Ivan Albright at the Art Institute of Chicago and originally
painted for the old movie. Here he is in al gruesome glory.
We are off to see an Oscar Wilde play tonight so it seemed appropriate.

I saw the film on TV once, many, many years ago...or part of it. Albright's painting looks like something by Joe Coleman!

wonder if Allbright was an infulence on Coleman. Allbright would spend a day painting square inch of canvas with this kind of crazy detail

Could very well be...both of those guys get microscopic with their details. Thanks for posting this image.
