Mickey

I generally only like pre 60's Mickey work but I love Regis Loisel's that just came out.  I went a few times when he would hold life drawing in Montreal and my friend sent pics of this book in progress and was looking forward to it.

One Week

Sketchbook doodles from Fatty Arbuckle and Buster Keaton shorts.  Keaton's body of silent films is some of favorite comedy things ever.  Also mood music before I go shovel snow.

Blund

Watched a family ghost story film from the early seventies with my niece for the first time, THE AMAZING MR. BLUNDEN.  Really liked it it. I imagine a lot of British kids grew up with that one. Also some THEATRE OF BLOOD scribbles.

Gloves

One of a number of illustrations for children's illustration jobs.

Karswell

The first of 3 Karswell's I did for upcoming issues of HAUNTED HORROR here, the first being this week. Colors by Madame Clizia. I did these with an eye towards the old Warren comics.

Minuit

The second volume of Midi Minuit Fantastique  collections arrived. I've never owned any of the actual issues so the price tag doesn't bother me. Its 750 pages and the quality of the images is  stunning and some of the best there is all rescanned from the best sources for these collected issue hardcovers. I still keep promising myself I'll learn french tho since its painful not to be able to read articles and interviews. Comes a with dvd of amazing sixties shorts and doc  (unsubtitled)but still great to look at.

Eerie

I enjoy road tripping along Lake Erie, these are just phone pics and sketches. Its a shame there aren't more victorian/goth bikinis out there.
