I'm a big fan of old black and white movies and I love film noir and ganster stuff. Some favourites include Sunset Boulevard,
Gun Crazy, Nightmare Alley, Out of the Past, stuff shot by John Alton ect.
A friend of mine is having show based around Jewish gangsters and occassionally I'l doodle up a gangster. below are some
of my sketchbook gangsters. Some based around real guys some not and one that I finished a bit more a while back.

Hey, I just happened to be reading your blog when you uploaded these! Whoo-hoo! first post! These are wicked, Draz! I just love them all. Each have their own personalities! You rock!

I especially love Mr. Chowderhead! Awesome work....

These are fantastic! Chowderhead is a great drawing, though he looks like a stereotype I've seen a lot before. My favorite drawing is "The Rope". I love the attitude and expression!

Great! All are very cool. I like Chowderhead most but they are are neat. Now I want to draw gangsters and wish I had a cool gangster name.

Thanks Mike, I'm glad you like 'em
thanks Cedric! Chowderhead Cohen is the real name of a the gangster [as is KiD Twist] and looks the most [maybe] like the actual wise guy so maybe thats why hes the most stereotypical. the rest are all made up.
I'll try and work up a Guy "the Cactus" or "the Needle" Francis at soon!
Thanks Alina!
