Aquarium

Went to the new aquarium in Toronto. And packing for a week in Montreal leaving today by train. I love having dinner on and going by train and looking forward to hanging out with friends for New Years.

Its been quite the ice blast here in  Toronto and a couple of surprise folks without power and their pets are joining our family for Christmas dinner. In between cleaning and helping in the kitchen I'm enjoying these.
These Pierre Lambert Disney books are always jaw dropping and Sleeping Beauty, one of my favorite designed films, is no exception. Tho Dumbo is my favorite movie and until a 101 Dalmations book comes out this and Pinocchio are my favorite Disney art books.

Photographer Barrie Wentzell has an amazing body of work and sells prints of his photographs.
 My friend helps him with legal artwork issues and I'm looking forward to meeting him over drinks one day and listening to stories about The Kinks and The Pretty Things and numerous others.

My Espectrostatic vinyl arrived today. I love this record, it has the mood of  seventies italian horror movies soundtrack but still very much its own thing.

I probably enjoy the soundtrack for the movie Performance more then the movie tho its a good one especially since Merry Clayton is on it  and whose Usher Boy is a early sixties favorite.
