Today was a pefect fall day in these parts and I took some photos during a morning bike ride and thought , what the hey, I'll post them, leaving out the industrial wasteland part, boring I know.
A couple of weeks back when my wife and myself were walking down this path about evey 5 feet there was a baby garter snake crossing it both going towards and away from the lake. Not sure if they were lost or part of their ritual. Don't usually see them
ahh the colours of fall

I love the one with the red door! The burning bushes are beautiful, we have them at the front of our house too!
nice photos! I think I put the bike in the house too early this year! Must get back on the road!
I love this time of year. Is this home? It's beautiful. Nice photos.
beautiful pictures Drazen, really really nice colours! where do you live?
glad you like the photos guys.
yeah me too Guy.well its around our home. we live across from Lake Ontario right at the western edge of Toronto. The bike path route passes in front of our house and the photos are different points along the path [omitting the factories and such tho I like those too, but they tend to stay the same colur year round] The house with the burning bushes is actually on the property of a very old beautiful house thats been around for 100's of years and used to sit alone with only water aceess in the old days. Its usually the farthest west I go. If you keep going further west you hit really wild uncharted terrain and might possibly run into the deadly Smook roaming the woods. In the winter when he comes out foraging for herbal tea I usually hold up with a strong, black coffee in the ice rink across the street where I know I'm safe. Keep going further east and eventually you hit the valley of the doodlers. Its not as pleasant as it looks let me tell ya.
thanks Stef!
Yup! Beware of Smook sitings....they are very rare in deed! Don't forget the honey with that herbal!
Gorgeous images, Drazen. Thanks so much for posting these.
Beautiful shots. Reminds me of the 'atumn leaves' sequence in the movie HERO. Stunning.
Ah, yes, the seasons begin to turn...some beautiful pics, here.
