Had a drawing date with a fellow blogger who I hadn't seen in awhile. I'l post some sketches from the Agricultural fair in a
bit, heres a hint to the identity of my sketching buddy.
well if you guessed the Smook (red dot blog] you would be right.
In between catching up, tea, coffee, subs and arm wrestling on a cow milking bucket, I managed to do a few sketches, even an animal or two.
Had a great time.
Now smook didn't want his picture taken but when he wasn't looking i did this quick sketch of him for yoiu curious
folks

Hmmm.. a reddish spot...circle of red... you've got me stumped. Maybe Smook would know. I think he was going to draw animals too.
Hey Guy, I made it too easy didn't I
You've got me stumped........who IS this mystery person.....and I thought your internet wasn't working...
Great sketches Draz, I had a good time too! Nice to have caught up a bit!
Lovely, lovely sketches, Drazen. At the moment, my eyes're gravitating to the squarish piggy at top and the scowling young lady with the poofy hair. I also like the final image, too. Them pipes're nifty. Your work is all kinds of happy-making.
These are amazing drawings!! WOW!! Soo much characters and charm in them.
Hahaha! Funny stuff! Great sketches Drazen!
Ohh, Drazen, these are quite remarkable! It looks like you had a great day.... we can't wait to see what Mike posts too. My favourites right now are the pink pig at the top and the fellow with the round plaid belly, but there are many others that are a treat! The black-faced sheep is gorgeous! -Arna
I don't know what to say--
just phenomenal!
that first smook drawing is pretty hilarious--i didn't know he was so agile (or dapper)!
your artwork is wonderfully fragile and full of character--very lively. it looks like a very full day.
Terrific!
Fantastic stuff!
Fantastic stuff, D! I don't know if you arranged them this way conciously but as I scrolled down the page and got to the farmer with the big belly and then the sleeping pig was revealed next I actually laughed out loud. You've sketched these with observational sensitivity and injected your own brand of stylistic humour. Their great!
Drazen, I love the drawing of Smook! You should do another one of him, but facing us and stroking a white Persian cat, in true Blofeld fashion! Sorry, Mike, but at least I didn't suggest that Drazen draw you stroking Mini-Me! Tee-hee!
Great sketches, Drazen! I'm jealous on so many levels!
JVB
Hi drazen, it's always a pleasure come here....and see your new sketches.
Splendid sketches, you did a LOT - looks like a great day was had by you two. The colour pig at the top & the chick in the red hat are my favourites. Heading over to REDDOT to see what Smook did -
(The drawing of him makes him look like Darth Vader in EMPIRE when we see his helmet going on from behind - so to speak!)
You got TAG!! Tony started a Girl Design TAG ... I got TAG by him ... Guess I will pass on my TAG to you! HE ! HE!! No pressure ... just for fun! :)
It is too late for me to be commenting.
Sorry for all of the deleted posts.....
Doodlers, thanks for sparing me yet another humiliating sketch!
Sorry to be responding to comments on your blog Draz!
Thanks for all the wonderful comments folks!
JVB- and reveal his HIDEOUSLY scarred face to the world, I might get suffocated by blowfield in the night!
Yacin- mmm capaccino
Alina- Girl Design Tag ..but I'm not a girl:-)...but I will put on my favourite skirt and do something up.
These are great sketches....sounds like it was fun. Thanks for letting us know what The Smook looks like. =)
These are GREAT, Drazen! I always love checking out sketches, especially yours. Excellent, excellent work, man!
this is one of the best things about art blogs. the ability to see other people's practice drawings that you normally would never have seen. these are all very good and very inspirational. I think I really need to draw much more often than I do.
Thanks Eren,Ward and Dennis

(Oops! Posted this message under the wrong nom-de-plume ... )
Mr. Drazen, I love finding new almost-hidden stuff in your sketches. I perused these jobbies a second time and just noticed the black-headed-cow-businessman (just above the sleeping pig). Made me laugh some loud. Noice!
Love the colors you've added to the pigs...makes them so plump...just want to poke thier bellies. Great sketches all around.
