First Julia Gillian book in German!

Busy, busy, busy!
In fact I'll probably have to miss life drawing tonight.
And I'm also excited about TCM showing The Uninvited on thursday. Have missed that one
so I'm looking forward to seeing it for the first time.

Models were double booked last night at life drawing so we got two for the price of one.
These were done with a 2h lead on around 8 by 10 paper. Can't get much looseness or
variations in pencil line or tone with lead like that so I'm happy when I get a drawing or two that I like out of it.

I was hoping for a more substantial post but that was not to be.
The holidays were very nice and I hope yours was too.

Above is a sketch and below a photo of our New Years Eve guests who got a treated to a wonderful feast of
giant crabs legs, chick pea and artichoke salad, potato skins, chicken wings plus an assortment of cheeses, olives, smoked salmon and dip.

The Postman brought me these treasures yesterday, that are going great with my coffee this morning.
The Toon Treasury of Children's Comics is almost 350 pages of comics from the 30's to the early 60's that make me want to eat chocolate chip pancakes all day and lie on the floor ignoring my chores.




And a Marvel Masterworks that raises the gooseflesh. A collection of Menace!
I love these 50's horror comics and I'd love to see a lot more titles get the hardcover treatment.
