Sketchbook
Franju's EYES WITHOUT A FACE and JUDEX have been long time faves but its only recently I saw a couple of his other features and finally picked up this book. In my head I always saw it as oversized dimension wise but its pretty tiny but dipping into it already, its fantastic.
Watching THE DARK CORNER terrific and beautifully shot film noir.

Happy New Year!
you'll have to click on The Happy Undertaker for my official welcoming of 2017 but here was my the amazing pasta dish we had with lots of bubbly. Also went to the AGO for an amazing show of religious boxwood art. Prayer orbs and boxes of insane detail. The one pictured on top is heaven, purgartory and hell. The gallery had large 3d scans of the sculptures so you could actually see all the figures and all that was going on..also a cat under a tree and Bob Hope comic. It really was Christmas.
