Art
Went to Warhol and Turner shows in town. Both great especially the Turner. Then went for drinks and good food at the recently opened Shameful Tiki.

and
I came across this mammoth and beautiful book the other day at a incredible price. I have a couple of books on him with more specific subject focus, but this is a beautifully reproduced collection of his major works till 68 with studies as well. I've been to the Wyeth museum several times in Chadds Ford and always love it as I've always been a huge fan of NC and Andrew (which I'm sure I've said on this blog before). Should get back to posting drawings tomorrow.
Cabinet
here is the cabinet a little more stuffed and two favs...I'll need another cabinet for the Searle's.
Tho over time I've tried to get first or early editions of their books its a lot harder these days unless you want to spend a lot of money or luck out at used book store. Its cool that Pomegranate reprints Gorey's books but at the same time I've always wondered why on some of the books they don't just reprint them in the original size and format. they can be smaller or the covers fiddled with occasionally.

Cabinet
Its true I'm a Edward Gorey fan so I'm pretty happy to have this new (old) cabinet to put (some) of my collection in along with other things like Piccoli which is one of my favorite kids books ever. I've never been shy about my love for Paul Julian and I find it a crime that this is the only book he ever did.

Cauldron
While shopping for a book case ( I found a really nice glass cabinet, from around the 20's,) for some favorite books I ended up picking this up to use as a container for water. I really like it tho I'm not sure what its originally for. I thought maybe a Indian spice crusher. Tho it won't make the cabinet a pretty great Le Fanu cover. Well maybe it will.

Price
I still haven't had a chance to take out my skates since Christmas but I have been flipping through this Price cookbook with illustrations by Charles Wysocki.
