My favorite recent purchase has been this amazing book of stereoscopic Diableries.  A huge, mind-blowing and beautifully designed collection that comes with its own stereoscopic glasses. In a early Happy Undertaker he views stereoscopic images and I've wanted to make a set of my own for awhile. Also a old favorite book.

The Haunted Palace

Watched the bluray of The Haunted Palace this weekend. A great movie and it looked beautiful. I think it might my favorite soundtrack for a Corman Poe film. The blu ray set has  great intros from a Idaho tv station when Price introduced a series of films.

Looking through Christopeher Payne's beautiful and haunting photographs of abandoned asylums with one of my desert island Kinks records playing.  I was happy to find a cheap copy of Jean Knight's Mr. Big Stuff album which I usually see going for a lot more. A great soul record and I love the cover but admit it seems like a odd marketing choice to me. Some veggie pasta and its bike ride time...
