Here's one of the surprises in my package of Mike Mignola treasures in our art trade. If you told me awhile back Mike would be a fan of The Happy Undertaker and wanted to trade art with me I would have said you're one point short of a pentagram. The rest of the stuff I'm afraid is just for me to enjoy.:-) but heck this cheers me up especially with all the computer hassles and re-installing and hoping I didn't lose to much work that I might not have saved in the last week or two that I might have to look forward too. Thanks Mike!

A friend from Montreal is coming into town on Friday (he's bringing me a copy of the new Rosemary's Baby blu-ray whose extras and print I'm dieing to see)  so I got out a old sketchbook from when I was there to see the Hitchcock Gallery show which was fantastic. Wish I had the catalogue from it. There was still half of the sketchbook unused and I like the paper. Here's quick drawing of Mother's head from the show from back then.

I just finished rewatching the first season of Twin Peaks. As much as I enjoy some recent episodic shows like Carnivale, Deadwood and Boardwalk Empire this still remains my favorite.   A couple of quick Audrey's.

Morning Joe

 A pretty incredible package arrived today of which this is only a part.  Apart from being a brilliant draughtsman/storyteller and a artist whose work I've long admired and been transported by , Mike Mignola is one of the coolest/nicest people I've never  met in person. I could go on but this is a heckuva wonderful way to start the day and I'll  have to get some picture frames.

  I've got a soft spot for this coffee cups George Shrinks is the first cartoon I ever storyboarded on.

Friends house where a few people gather after the trick or treating is sadly over.

 I don't have my mustache on here but my  favorite trick or treater  was this girl maybe 11  or 12 who was like "is that mustache real?" and usually i just say every things real

but this time I said no for some reason and she storms away  going "What a buzz kill!"
