Destroy All Movies
Found this today for 10 bucks on my bike ride and looking forward to the interviews and random browsing.
From Richard Hell's intro.."What we mostly discover when we look at the movies in this book is that the world is a really stupid place, almost unbearably stupid-but a lot of fun to read about,"
Ok, I've read a bit of this and I'll say this is a essential book at any price. A appreciation of both the serious portrayals of punk rock in film and the neanderathal buffon and the fun, serious, excellent, awful and idiotic movies that focused or casually featured them. Informative and damn funny. Poetry really.
