Some random sketches.
I've never read any of Beatrix Potters books but I've always enjoyed her watercolours of animals and plants.

    I don't think I've ever seen you work in the style of that 1st B. Potter pic? Very illustrative look to it..

    What's the panoramic one in the middle of? Looks like it's taken from a photo depicting the Burmese catastrophe?..

    I don't really ink like this too much anymore, its more
    a reaction to a the subject. reading the biography,
    her Victorian world somehow made me go for a more traditional approach (or at least being more faithful to the photograph) when I was drawing from the photograph. I suppose I would call it more realistic or traditional
    than more illustrative tho.

    you are right about the burmese catastrophe
    it actually says that in the top corner from a Toronto
    Star photo tho you can't really read it.
