  1. Superb! love the contrast of the girls innocence with the wild, monstrous expression of the headless man.

  5. Hi Drazen,

Here's a suggested few extra lines for your verse:

"Oh Uli, dear Uli, you're really
    my favourite ghouli", Sam said.

That's amazing that you did this while watching the game. Maybe the hockey action was less than compelling that night? It's a lovely sketch and poem.-Arna

  8. DRAZEN! Just got back from my holidays and checked your blog. I don't want to be too presumptious, but is it really me you're referring to in your poem and that ass-kick drawing you did? If it is, I'm tickled pink, if it's not the other Uli should be tickled pink too. What a wonderful execution of your initial sketch. No matter what, it's going into my library. (menaical laughter).
    Cheers,

    ULI

  10. I'd figured you'd done such a wonderful poetic rendition that I had a hard time coming up with something, but I figured heck with it, I'd give it a shot :) Anyway, here goes...

    She woke from her slumber
    That tot with a number
Of three, or maybe a four
    To walk with the ghosts
    Share tea and some toast
And chat from who's heads nevermore
